Vine Hill Family Ministry Resident

The Vine Hill Ministry Residency Program is a six-month leadership development experience designed for emerging leaders who sense a calling to ministry and want hands-on experience in the local church.
Residents will serve in a focused ministry area while receiving practical training, leadership coaching, spiritual development, and real ministry responsibility. This program is designed to help bridge the gap between high school, college, career, or volunteer leadership into long-term ministry opportunities.
Residents will be challenged to grow spiritually, lead practically, and develop the character and skills necessary for effective ministry leadership.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Help lead and execute weekly Kidz and Youth gatherings and events
- Build relationships with Kidz and Youth students
- Recruit, train, and encourage volunteers
- Assist in communication with students, parents, and leaders
- Help plan outreach events, camps, and special experiences
- Support follow-up systems for new students and guests
- Participate in leadership development and ministry coaching
- Help students take next steps in their relationship with Jesus
Required Skills & Experience
- Value and pursue an intimate relationship with God
- High School Diploma
- A clear passion for the local church and reaching people far from God
- Strong relational and communication skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
- Teachable spirit with a desire to grow in leadership
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-centered environment
- High character, humility, and integrity
Residency Expectations:
Residents are expected to model the values and culture of Vine Hill Church in both character and leadership.

Hours: 15 - 20 hours a week
